How Routines Qualify for the World Championship
The World Championship field is built through multiple qualification paths designed to reward excellence, honor culture, recognize reach, and showcase the strongest studios in the world.
If a routine qualifies through multiple paths, additional invitations may be extended to the next eligible routines to complete the championship field.
Top 50 Highest Scores Worldwide
The top 50 highest-scoring routines across all ages, styles, and divisions automatically qualify for the World Championship.
Top 10 Cultural Dance Qualifiers
The top 10 highest-ranked cultural dance routines qualify to honor the roots, tradition, and global legacy of dance.
Age Group Champions
1st place in every age group qualifies for the World Championship field.
Top Special Needs Routine
The highest-ranked routine entered in the Special Needs category will also earn an invitation to the Perks Dance Lab World Championship.
Perks Dance Lab Select Invitations
10 standout routines may receive Perks Dance Lab Select Invitations based on exceptional Technique, Performance, Choreography, and Execution/Timing.
Most Viewed Wild Cards
The top 10 most-viewed routines qualify if they are not already included in the Top 50 highest scores worldwide.

10 Million Routine Championship
At 10 million routines, the platform’s #1 ranked routine becomes the official Perks Dance Lab Platform Champion. That routine earns 100% travel paid for the winner plus 2 coaches and the opportunity to choose from 7 Perks Dance Lab-selected locations for where the World Championship will be held. The $2,000,000 World Championship prize then unlocks, and Perks Dance Lab may cover 25% to 100% of travel expenses for other qualifying dancers, teams, and approved coaches, helping the world’s best dancers reach the championship stage.
Platform Champion
The highest-scoring routine at the 10 million routine milestone becomes the official Perks Dance Lab Platform Champion, earns 100% travel paid for the winner and 2 coaches, and gets to choose from 7 Perks Dance Lab-selected locations for where the World Championship will be held.
Official Platform Tie Breaker
If two routines finish tied on Total Score at the 10 million milestone, Perks Dance Lab Official Score decides which routine becomes the Platform Champion.
World Championship Rewards
The $2,000,000 prize is reserved for the World Championship winner, not the platform champion. Perks Dance Lab may also cover 25% to 100% of travel expenses for other qualifying dancers, teams, and approved coaches.
Separate Most Viewed Honors
The Most Viewed leaderboard has its own winners, titles, and prize opportunities without deciding the main championship.
